In 1981, Randy Vannoy founded Vannoy Chimney Sweeping with little more than a used top hat, a handful of poly rods, some brushes, and an old vacuum he bought from Old England Chimney Sweep. From those humble beginnings, he built the business into what it is today. The soot in your chimney, though? That’s a different story.
The company’s original slogan was "mean and lean so that it’s clean," reflecting a simple truth: a clean chimney matters—and so do our customers. Today, Randy still sweeps and repairs chimneys while staying committed to ongoing education through the National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) and the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA). This ensures he provides the latest information and the best products available.
